The Ricote Valley is rich in history and there are many places well worth a visit.

Local towns and villages -

Ricote is a small village with some beautiful old streets to explore. There are a few cafes where you can just sit back and relax.

Cieza town centre has good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Visit the Teodoro Mill museum, Esparto museum and Medina Siyasa museum.

Abaran is a large busy village with good choice of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Visit the main Noria Grande (big waterwheel) or walk along beside the river route to discover more!

Terra Natura offers a great day out for all the family. It’s an animal park, water park, and pony riding centre, all rolled into one.
The animal park has more than 50 different species of animals. You can also book a guided tour, see a falconry display, a sea lion show, and even go on a night safari.
The water park has slides, toboggans, river rides, a black hole, a kamikaze, and a selection of pools to suit all ages. Sunbeds are provided.
Around the different zones of the park you will find bars, cafés and restaurants.

Tentegorra Aventura, Parque Rafael de la Cerda
Tentegorra, 15 minutes drive to the west of Cartagena.
Open all year, every day from 11am. Closed 24th & 25th December.
